Sortie sur single : février 1993 (Anyone Can Play Guitar)

La chanson est de structure et musicalement assez simple… s’appuyant sur la répétition et sur un jeu sur le mot ’easy’.

A priori, l’enregistrement s’est fait lors de la même session que Yes I Am, comme Ed semble vaguement se souvenir en 2008…

Le premier numéro de W.A.S.T.E., le journal officiel lancé pour les fans, annonce la chanson pour le prochain single :

Elle est effectivement sortie le 1er février 1993 en tant que face-B du single « anyone can play guitar »

Un petit détail : Si vous tendez bien l’oreille à la fin de la chanson, vous entendrez une sorte de « mélodie », moment assez rare, car il s’agit de Colin chantonnant, parce qu’il pensait que l’enregistrement était terminé et que la bande ne tournait plus.

Thom Yorke avoue ne plus être capable de la jouer…
