Low est un groupe de rock alternatif originaire de Duluth (dans l’état du Minnesota) formé en 1993. Il est composé de trois membres : Alan Sparhawk (guitare, chant), Matt Livingstone (basse), Mimi Parker (batterie, chant). Low fait une musique très minimaliste et délicate, justement si minimaliste que les fans de Radiohead ont fait plutôt mauvais accueil au groupe, attendant du « plus péchu ».

Pour autant, les membres de Radiohead continuent à crier leur amour pour ce groupe.

Low doesn’t expect to be big and succesful themselves. “But there’s always that question: Would I turn into a complete jerk if we became succesful? Is succes evil?
