Selon The Sun, Thom Yorke aurait refusé une collaboration avec Paul Mac Cartney, qui se montrait pourtant fort intéressé.
Ce serait l’ancien chanteur des Beatles qui seraient allé voir celui de Radiohead, se disant que comme ils travaillent avec le même producteur (Nigel Godrich a produit "Chaos et Creation in the backyard"), ça pourrait créer des liens… Eh bien non! Thom semblerait lui avoir répondu qu’il ne se sentait pas jouer avec quelqu’un d’autre que lui même ou Radiohead.

Citation de Mac Cartney lue sur ateaseweb:  “My daughter was putting an album together and she put us in touch. I asked Thom to do a duet, but he said he couldn’t because he only felt happy working on his own and Radiohead’s material.”

(Mince, et moi qui me disais que tel Bono, Thom pourrait écrire une chanson pour un prochain album de notre Johnny National…)
